Who are we

I am Derek the founder of DAB Reporting and have been trading for two years now. At present I work alone but I am looking to expand and take on new talent over the next couple of years as my business grows organically. See below for some history on my Journey towards this stage of my career.

The Journey

I love working with technology and learning new skills and having as many different interactions as I can to broaden my knowledge both within my chosen specialities and beyond. I really enjoy the feeling when a process or automation flow I create saves a company time and money and reduces the workload for often already stretched workforces.

I originally started working with Excel gaining MoS Expert level qualification in 2009. Since then I have worked with Excel daily including a stint as Excel Technical support for Sage Software which gives a unique knowledge of Excel and VBA. This lead to more reporting work and the beginning of using Power BI (before it was even chargeable to use) and I continue to build my knowledge of both daily, and also now the use of Power Platform for developing Applications and automation flows
